University–Industry Co-Creation

PilotX

Testing innovation in real contexts, under real constraints

What Is PilotX?

PilotX (锚点计划) is a Cambridge-initiated series of university–industry co-creation pilot projects that connect university innovation capacity with real industrial and societal challenges.

Through small-scale pilots conducted in real contexts and under explicit constraints, PilotX explores innovation pathways that are verifiable, replicable, and scalable, providing clear anchor points for future system-level adoption and expansion.

PilotX does not aim to showcase concepts or produce one-off solutions. Instead, it asks a more difficult question: Can innovation be genuinely tested and sustained in environments where conditions are clear, resources are limited, and constraints are real?
